Wolf 05:02
Tell me babe, where have you been? You're covered in sweat and you taste like sin Wherever you've been it's turning me on Please feed on me until the break of dawn Oh baby baby won't you be my wolf Bite into my flesh, suck on my skin I've been waiting for you so very long Feed on me until the break of dawn (Wolf howls) Feed on my lips lips lips Feed on my kiss kiss kiss Feed on my lips lips lips Feed on my kiss kiss kiss

My silent house at the far end of your street longs for your beauty and longs for your heat when the party's over and the darkness is complete join me here before I go to sleep My silent house at the far end of your street begs you to storm in and knock me off my feet bring your fancy costumes, your party balloons and treats and join me here before I go to sleep

Witch 01:59
1- Oh have you heard my witch and her perfect pitch as she casts her spells in the air? She's a temptress of night a priestess that bites and says “Do me, boy, if you dare” Oh will I die tonight with my hands clenched tight? will she bury me in her hair? I'll feed her my soul she can swallow it whole and every part of me I swear 2- Oh the everlasting rain and my nightly pains dissapear when she's around and my resistence and will are silent and still and nowhere to be found If you could taste the thrills the terrific chills I get when I hear the sound Of her enchanting spells That clammer of bells that leave me howling like a hound BRIDGE Oh have you heard my witch and her perfect pitch as she casts her spells in the air? She's a temptress of night a priestess that bites and says “Do me, boy, if you dare”

Take me to the moon Girl take me to the moon I can be your bride You can be my groom Take me to the moon Will we get there soon? Will we get there soon? So I can be your bride Your joy and pride Until the end of doom You'll be my groom My groom of doom You'll be my groom My groom of doom And I will do anything that you want me to do And I will do anything that you want me to do And I will do anything that you want me to do You'll be my groom, my groom, my groom, my groom of doom doom doom doom Ah ah ah ah Doo-doo-doo doom doom doom doom I like it here on the moon And I love this room Where I became your bride Your joy and pride Until the end of doom I wore my favourite dress And I wore perfume But you couldn't care less That I wore my dress And that I wore perfume Why did you leave so soon? My groom of doom Why did you leave so soon? My groom of doom I even did everything that you wanted me to do I even did everything that you wanted me to do I even did everything that you wanted me to do But you left so soon, my groom, my groom of doom doom doom doom Ah ah ah ah Doo-doo-doo doom doom doom doom

Sweety 06:37
Every single water tremendous and still Has mysteries to solve and dreams to fulfill Honey, take me to the river tremendous and still We have dreams to enjoy and mysteries to kill On the seventh night of the seventh month we met by the river and you said “Hello sweety, hello darling, hello sweety...” And all of the frogs and the water-lillies joined in and sang “Hello sweety, hello darling, hello sweety”

Shift 03:06
CHORUS: Something's not right It just isn't right Something's not right It just isn't right Something's wrong Something's wrong Something's wrong Something's wrong Something's not right It just isn't right Something's not right It just isn't right Something's wrong Something's wrong Something's wrong Something's wrong 1- Doreen sits in the staircase clutching her knees. A light pleasant breeze carries the smell of Aunt Lizzie's freshly baked cinnamon buns. Doreen sits up as the realization that something has just slightly changed hits her. Some thing has shifted. Something in the world will never be the same. Although there is absolutely no way to distinguish any change at all, Doreen inspects her very familiar surroundings with the impression that she has never seen them before. The kitchen telephone rings. Once. Twice. At the third ring Aunt Lizzie picks up the phone. “Hello?”. The silence in the house increases. Doreen thinks “It's as if there was some thing I might have missed.” The silence is broken by Aunt Lizzie screaming a most terrifying howl. “There must be something something something that I must have missed” (x4) CHORUS 2- Doreen runs into the kitchen and finds Aunt Lizzie on the floor still clutching onto the phone. “What's wrong, Auntie?”, asks Doreen. Aunt Elizabeth looks up at Doreen crying and mumbling at the same time. The room goes black. A sharp pain invades Doreen's head. “Auntie, what's wrong?” “What on earth is going on?”, she thinks. “What am I doing here? What is wrong with me? Should I do something?”. Doreen runs out of the kitchen, into the hallway and out of the house. She stares at the garden looking for something, anything. It all looks exactly the same as it usually does. But it shouldn't. “You can't fool me!” she yells. “Nothing will ever be the same.” “There must be something something something that I must have missed” (x7)

Spell 01:45
Cinnamon, basil and a cup of wine the nighttime is my favourite time incantations and spells that rhyme I can't wait to make you mine Rosemary, sea salt, and a pinch of thyme At the end of this song you will be mine My holy priestess, my witch divine Under my spell until the end of time

Half elephant and half snake The swamp monster will devour you before you wake It doesn't matter if you're fat or thin He will swallow you whole; flesh, bones and skin If you happened to picnic in front of his cave Or if in his swamp you decided to bathe One would have to admit that you're a pretty big fool Because you just chose to drown in a pool of monster drool Sharpen your knives Lock up your wives The swamp monster is here Run for your lives The swamp monster killed my neighbour and his son Apparently they never even got to run We heard them scream, we heard them shriek Sounds that would make the stomach of a grown monster weak No man, no woman has ever lived to tell Whether their meeting with the swamp monster went well He might just honour you with a smile full of grace Before tearing out your lungs and ripping of your face Sharpen your knives Lock up your wives The swamp monster is here Run for your lives At night I'll think of him and get the frights I'll sneak into my mother's bed or turn on all the lights I even dreamt that he came to our house He slipped through the front door, silent as a mouse He ate my mother He ate my father He ate my sisters He ate my brothers And sat at the kitchen table staring at me And sat at the kitchen table smiling at me And sat at the kitchen table staring at me And sat at the kitchen table smiling at me Sharpen your knives Lock up your wives The swamp monster is here Run for your lives Half elephant and half snake the swamp monster will devour you before you wake

about

Sweat Like An Ape! Bordeaux, France

Sweat Like An Ape ! hails from Bordeaux, France. Their music evolves in that special place where the urgency of punk and the sparkle of pop and dance music cross paths. Although certain new-wave and post-punk influences are unquestionable, these four boys like to mingle with all kinds of groove, be it that of the nigerian king Sir Victor Uwaifo, or the funk-punk of James Chance. ... more
